Kanishak Kataria:

He is the topper of the CSE conducted by UPSC. He is graduated from IIT Bombay in computer science and engineering. At present, he is a Data Scientist at QPLUM, Bengaluru. His father, Sanwar Mal Verma, is also an IAS officer. Moreover, in the year 2010, he had topped the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced in the Schedule Cast (SC) category and did Computer Science Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay afterward.

Akshat Jain:

 

He has got rank 2nd in the civil services exam conducted by UPSC. He did his graduation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. His father name is Mr. D C Jain and he is Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), New Delhi. His mother, Mrs. Simmi Jian, is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer.

Junaid Ahmed:

 

He secured 3rd position in CSE. After his initial schooling from St Mary’s School in Bijnor district Nagina town in Uttar Pradesh, he completed his graduation from Sharda University. Afterward, he started preparing for the UPSC exam. He said, “I belong to a middle-class background – every parent in India wants their child to become an IAS officer, my parents were no different. I was not so keen, but with time I realized that I can do it and then prepared myself for it.” His father is a lawyer and his mother is a homemaker and he is really an inspiration to many aspirants who want to do something for the nation

Shreyans Kumat:

 

Although he cracked this prestigious examination in his very first attempt, he bagged 4th rank in the exam. He hails from Kishangarh near Ajmer, Rajasthan. He did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.

Srushti Jayant Deshmukh:

 

Srushti scored 5th rank the final exam of UPSC and is the topper among women candidates appeared in the examination. She is an M.Phil in chemical engineering and going to be the first civil servant in her family. Her father is an engineer and her mother is a preschool teacher. In an interview, Srushti said, “UPSC exam is a long journey where you are committed for 1-1.5 years.”

Shubham Gupta:

 

Shubham Gupta is one shining star among them who scored 6th rank in the civil services examination conducted by UPSC. His father is a businessman and it was his father’s dream to see him as an IAS officer one day. Shubham is already an official at Indian Audit and Accounts Services (IA&IS). This was his fourth attempt and he cracked the examination with great marks.

Karnati Varun Reddy:

 

He secured All India Rank 7 in the civil services examination. After four attempts he finally nailed it and proved it that you can achieve any milestone with your persistence and will power.

Vaishali Singh:

 

Twenty-six-year-old Vaishali Singh bagged 8th rank in the civil services examination organized by UPSC. She is an alumna of DPS and did 5-year integrated BA-LLB course from National Law University, New Delhi. She cracked the civil services examination in her second attempt. She said, “I could not clear the prelims in my first attempt as I did not prepare very well, but I was sure to clear it in my second attempt.”

Gunjan Dwivedi:

 

This young girl secured 9th rank in the civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC. She was in shock when a friend of hers broke the news that she bagged 9th rank in UPSC examinations. She is from Loreto Convent who did her graduation in Political Science Honors from Delhi University’s Daulat Ram College. She said, “My father is a retired IPS officer and my sister is a commercial tax officer. So, they both were my role models since childhood and somehow influenced her towards becoming a civil servant.” She spent a lot of time watching interviews of previous year toppers to keep her motivated.

Tanmay Vashistha Sharma:

 

He attained 10th rank in the esteem civil services examination conducted by the  UPSC, whose results were announced on Friday. Tanmay studied Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and currently is in Indian Police Service. However, 4 months are not considered enough to comfortably finish the syllabus but this boy proved everyone wrong.
