Punjab TET 2016 registrations begin: Paper pattern and fee structure

The registrations for Punjab TET (Teacher’s Eligibility Test) are going on and the official notification regarding the same was released at its official website www.tetpunjab.com . This exam is conducted for recruiting teachers for primary wing (classes 1 to 5) and upper primary wing (classes 6 to 8).

The interested lot can submit their application on or before July  21 (up to 5 pm).

The Department of School Education, Government of Punjab has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the exam to the SCERT, Punjab.

Paper I (for Classes I to V)

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs (30 marks)
  • Language I: 30 MCQs (30 marks)
  • Language II: 30 MCQs (30 marks)
  • Mathematics: 30 MCQs (30 marks)
  • Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs (30 marks)

Total: 150 MCQs (150 marks)

Paper II (for Classes VI to VIII)

  • Language-I (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 marks)
  • Language-II (compulsory): 30 MCQs (30 marks)
  • For Mathematics and Science teacher:

  • For Social Studies/Social Science Teacher:

  • For any other teacher – either (a) or (b)
